laser cut plates

cardboard cut on the laser cutter, trimming before printing

relief - inked roll up - work by design student Finn
emboss print made from a found plate - the negative offcut of someone's butterflies

Some exciting results emerging from experiments with printing laser cut plates - particularly good for embossing and relief prints.

  1. Wow, great results! Nice image Finn :) and I'm amazed how much relief you got on the embossed plates, gladwrap was a smart idea!
(You might also try experiments with 'positive / negative' shapes, indented / protruding, and as using the cut-outs as stencils & masks as well?)
Oh, I'm so jealous, wish I was able to come play!!! Looks like much fun!
