I work in multiple mediums which usually share the element of light in the processing.   I work with a 'printmaker's sensibility' across and between disciplines with an interest in creating prints and surfaces that invite viewers to touch, add to the narrative and become imprinted on.  

In 1984 I graduated with a Bachelor of Education and focused my early career on art teaching and more latterly lecturing at the Schools of Art and Design, Dunedin after completing a BFA. In 2003 I received a Master of Fine Arts (distinction), the culmination of research activity engaged with the mapping of memory.
